What We Do

We are a centre open to people who have a mental illness and may be isolated, lonely or homeless. It is a place where you can meet other people or have a tea or coffee and a chat. You can join in the general open afternoon drop-in sessions and take part in different groups and activities. The drop-in is open 2pm-5pm from Monday to Friday.

Although the project tries to welcome everyone; we regret that because of the limitations of our building there is currently no wheelchair access.

Who Runs the Project

The Barons Court Project is an independent voluntary organisation and a registered charity. We are funded by the Social Services Department and Primary Care Trust in Hammersmith and Fulham. We also fundraise to run specific activities.

The Barons Court Project has a management committee made up of various professionals and local people. The day-to-day running of the Project is carried out by a team of paid staff and service user volunteers and external volunteers. Project users are encouraged to participate and there is a meeting of users on the first Wednesday of every month, which gives everyone the opportunity to be involved in the running of the centre.
